Foundation SUR (SUNRISE) is a Dutch humanitarian aid organisation that works nationally and internationally for the common good. We offer both material and immaterial aid to those in need. With targeted aid and services in particular to children and young people.
Our humanitarian work is guided by the fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, transparency, independence, volunteerism, unity and universality. These are at the heart of our approach to helping people in need during POVERTY, natural disasters and other emergencies. Our staff and volunteers can see that they are part of something unique. Mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace between all peoples are important to us.ich national and international commitment to the common good. Helping, donating and being in solidarity come from compassion. A compassionate person acts out of inner compassion for the other. That is why we do not help out of pity, or to make people dependent on us. Helping is rather a moral, social and religious virtue. A virtue is an attitude to life. It comes from the persistent decision to commit yourself to the well-being of your fellow man.
