Thank You! Our Aid Campaign for Palestine Has Been Successfully Completed
As SUNRISE Foundation, we are proud that after a long time, during Ramadan in March 2023/2024, we were once again able to carry out our humanitarian aid activities in the Palestinian refugee camps. This special campaign has been successfully completed thanks to the great support of our valued donors.
Our Achievements:
Food Packages: Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to distribute 50 food packages filled with rice, beans, flour, sugar, oil, and other basic food items. These packages directly contributed to alleviating food insecurity for many families.
Daily Meals: During the five days of our mission, we provided hot meals to the volunteers and participants in the distribution. This ensured that everyone had the strength and energy to effectively organize and distribute our aid.
Transport and Logistics: To transport the food packages to the different refugee camps, we rented a van. This allowed us to deliver the aid quickly and efficiently, despite the logistical challenges in the region.
Focus on Palestinian Refugees
The situation in the Palestinian refugee camps is heartbreaking. Many families live in extreme poverty, with limited access to clean water, food, and medical care. During Ramadan, we especially wanted to support these communities, which aligns with our values of solidarity and care for the underprivileged. Our aid campaign not only provided material support but also delivered a message of hope and connectedness. Through conversations and shared meals, we sought to offer a sense of community and comfort.
