With great joy and deep gratitude, we would like to inform you of a new milestone in our joint mission to change lives: Sunrise Foundation will soon be launching well projects in Niger and Chad! This would not have been possible without the unconditional support and generosity of all of you.
The importance of clean water
Clean water is a basic need, essential for people's well-being and health. Unfortunately, millions of people in Niger and Chad still lack access to clean water. Women and children often have to walk miles to fetch water, which is not only time-consuming and exhausting, but also often leads to health problems from drinking contaminated water.
Our mission
At Sunrise Foundation, we believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right. Through our well projects in Niger and Chad, we aim to create sustainable and safe water sources for the communities that need them most. By drilling deep, safe water wells, we hope to transform the lives of thousands of people. These wells will directly help reduce disease, promote education (children no longer have to walk long distances for water) and improve economic opportunities.
Our previous successes
Thanks to your continued support, we have already realized several successful projects. For example, last year we drilled ten wells in Mali, giving more than 15,000 people access to clean drinking water. These projects not only improved health and hygiene, but also contributed to economic stability and education in the regions where we operate.
The new well projects
In the coming months, we will begin drilling wells in the most remote and needy areas of Niger and Chad. Each project is carefully planned and implemented in close collaboration with local communities and experts. We ensure that the wells are sustainable and long-lasting, with attention to environmentally friendly techniques and local involvement.
