Thanks! Our Relief Campaign for palestinians' refugee camps in Lebanon is Successfully Completed
As SUNRISE Foundation, we are proud that after a long time during Ramadan of March 2023/2024, we were able to carry out our humanitarian aid activities again in the Palestinian refugee camps. This special campaign was successfully completed thanks to the great support of our valued donors.
Our Achievements
Food Packages: Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to distribute 50 food packages filled with rice, beans, flour, sugar, oil and other basic foods. These packages directly helped alleviate food insecurity for many families.
Daily Meals: During the five days of our mission, we provided hot meals to the volunteers and distribution participants. This allowed us to ensure that everyone had the strength and energy to effectively organize and distribute our aid.
Transportation and Logistics: To transport the food packages to the various refugee camps, we rented a van. This enabled us to deliver aid quickly and effectively, despite the logistical challenges in the region.
Focus on Palestinian Refugees
The situation in Palestinian refugee camps is heartbreaking. Many families live in extreme poverty, with limited access to clean water, food and medical care. During Ramadan, we wanted to provide special support to these communities, which is in line with our values of solidarity and care for the less fortunate. Our relief campaign offered not only material support, but also a message of hope and belonging. Through conversations and shared meals, we sought to provide a sense of community and comfort.
