Around the world, wherever humanitarian aid is needed, thanks to our many volunteers, we always try to be the first organization on the ground. We enjoy working with organizations dedicated to helping people in need.
Stichting SUR (SUNRISEHELP) is a Dutch humanitarian aid organization working nationally and internationally for the common good. We provide both material and immaterial assistance to those in need, with a special focus on targeted assistance and services to children and youth.
Our humanitarian work is guided by the fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, transparency, independence, voluntarism, unity and universality. These principles are central to our approach to helping people in need during poverty, natural disasters and other crisis situations. Our staff and volunteers feel that they are part of something unique. Mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace among all peoples are of great importance to us. Both nationally and internationally, we are committed to the common good. We provide both material and intangible assistance to those in need, with a special focus on targeted assistance and services to children and youth.
SUR Foundation (Sunrise Help) is committed nationally and internationally to the common good by providing both material and intangible assistance to people in need. In particular, we focus on targeted support for children and youth. Our work is rooted in the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, transparency, independence, voluntarism, unity and universality. In times of poverty, disasters and other crises, we strive to offer hope, help and perspective.
We dream of a world in which every child and young person - regardless of origin or circumstances - can grow up with opportunities, safety and dignity. By promoting mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation, we build lasting peace and a more humane society. SUR Foundation aims to form a bridge between people in need and those who want to help, contributing to a more just world for all.
Helping, donating and being in solidarity come from compassion. A compassionate person acts from inner compassion for others. Therefore, we do not help out of pity or to make people dependent on us. On the contrary, helping is a moral, social and religious virtue. A virtue is an attitude of life, arising from the determined choice to devote oneself to the welfare of one's fellow man.
Donate and show solidarity, not just from a feeling or impulse, but from a deep sense of responsibility.
