Supporting Access to the Holy Qur’an

Today, many of us have easy access to educational materials, books and religious resources. However, in many parts of the world, people do not have the same opportunities. Particularly in regions where educational resources are limited, children and young people continue to make great efforts to read, learn and memorize the Holy Qur’an despite the challenges they face.

During our field activities, we witnessed students continuing their Qur’an education through traditional learning methods. Verses are written on wooden tablets, memorized and then erased so that new passages can be written and learned. With very limited resources, these students continue their education with remarkable dedication, demonstrating the importance they place on learning and spiritual development.

At Sunrise, we supported these students by facilitating the distribution of copies of the Holy Qur’an, helping them continue their education with more suitable learning materials. Each Qur’an delivered allows students to read directly from the Mushaf, revise what they have learned and continue their memorization in a more consistent and sustainable way.

Every contribution not only helps provide a copy of the Holy Qur’an, but also supports education, knowledge and the sincere efforts of students seeking to learn the Qur’an.
