🌙 We Touched Thousands of Hearts During the Holy Month of Ramadan – Thank You to the Sunrise Family!

During the holy month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, forgiveness, and abundance, we at Stichting Sunrise once again experienced the power of kindness, brotherhood, and sharing. Thanks to the support of our valued donors, we were able to answer the prayers of the oppressed, provide food to those in need, and bring hope to people who lack access to clean drinking water.

This Ramadan, we were not just a foundation; together, we became a community, a family.

What we accomplished together during Ramadan:

🍽 200 Iftar Meals
Every evening during Ramadan, we provided warm iftar meals to thousands of people in Africa and refugee camps. Each iftar was more than just a meal; it was a bridge of compassion against loneliness.

🌙 100 Suhoor Meals
In the silence of the night, we brought hope and strength to those preparing to fast. With a bowl of warm soup and a piece of bread, we made them feel that they were not alone.

50 Food Packages
We delivered food packages to families struggling to find daily food, providing them with security and peace of mind for a month. Each package contained not only food but also a helping hand of compassion.

💧 3 Water Wells Opened
We opened three new water wells in the arid regions of Africa. Thanks to these wells, children no longer have to go to school without water, mothers no longer have to walk long distances, and entire villages are being revitalized.

💛 Approximately €20,000 in Zakat – Approximately €10,000 in Sadaqa
We distributed these donations, shared by our donors, transparently and fairly to those most in need: debtors, orphans, widows, the elderly, and refugees. These donations not only provided financial relief but also brought comfort to broken hearts.

🌍 We Reached Approximately 10,000 African Brothers and Sisters
We reached approximately 10,000 people in various regions of Africa where hunger, thirst, and despair prevail. We made them feel that they were not forgotten. We became a source of hope and support for them.

🕊 We Reached Approximately 10,000 Refugees and Oppressed Individuals
Refugees and victims of war were not left alone during Ramadan. With hot meals, Eid al-Fitr assistance, festive clothing, and toys for children, we were able to bring at least a small smile to their faces.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We Supported Hundreds of Vulnerable Families
We reached orphans, elderly people who are unable to work, people with disabilities, and families who had lost their income. We listened to their stories, understood their needs, and sought solutions together. Our foundation wants not only to help, but also to listen, understand, and build meaningful connections.

Together, we made these beautiful deeds possible. Thanks to your efforts, prayers, and donations, Ramadan became a month filled with hope and light for thousands of people.
