A Heartwarming Action for the People in Need
At SUR Foundation, we believe in the power of community and solidarity. This Ramadan, we joined forces to make a difference in South Sudan, a country severely affected by conflict and poverty. Thanks to the generosity of our loyal donors, we were able to carry out a large-scale humanitarian relief effort that improved the lives of thousands of people.
What We Have Achieved
During the holy month of Ramadan, our dedicated volunteers in South Sudan worked tirelessly to provide assistance to those who need it most.
Here are some highlights of our mission:
Food Packages
We distributed hundreds of food packages to families in need. These packages contained basic foods such as rice, beans, flour, sugar, oil and dates, which are essential for breaking the fast during Ramadan.
Clean Drinking Water
Working with local partners, we installed water treatment plants and provided gallons of clean drinking water to communities without access to safe drinking water. This was vital to prevent disease and improve the overall health of communities.
Support for Orphans
We paid special attention to the most vulnerable, including orphans. In addition to food and water, we distributed clothes, school supplies and toys to make their daily lives a little lighter and happier.
