"Sunrise Foundation meets every year with its donors to organize a circumcision project in an underprivileged country, such as in Africa Chad. This project contributes both religiously and medically and can provide social benefits, as well as promote warm encounters between communities. Our goal is to reach as many children as possible and support hundreds of families in terms of health care. Get involved!"
This project has both religious and medical benefits and can contribute to social benefits and warm meetings between peoples.
circumcising developing children contributes to essential education for future healthy reproduction and family expansion. Circumcision reduces the risk of bacterial accumulation under the foreskin. This contributes to improved hygiene, which is important in areas where access to clean water and health care is limited. In communities with widespread practice of circumcision, there are fewer cases of infectious diseases, which can reduce long-term costs and pressure on health care systems.
Research shows that circumcision reduces the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in men. It also provides protection against certain sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as HIV and HPV.
Circumcision can prevent conditions such as phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis, which can otherwise cause painful or dangerous situations for the child's health.
Circumcision (khitan) is an important act of fitrah (natural cleanliness) in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"Five things belong to fitrah: circumcision, removal of pubic hair, trimming of nails, epilation of armpit hair and trimming of the mustache."
(Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)
It is seen as a way to ensure purity, which is an essential part of the faith.
Circumcision is considered obligatory (wajib) for men by many Islamic scholars. This is based on the practice of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who set an example in obedience to Allah. It strengthens ties to religious traditions and emphasizes devotion to Islamic values.
Health and spirituality
Circumcision not only has practical benefits, but is also considered an act of obedience to Allah that benefits both the spiritual and physical well-being of man.
