Our Prophet talks about the children who studied for days, months, maybe years and became Hafiz’ul Quran, as ’the most honorable of my Ummah’. Those young minds also pray for the volunteers who meet their needs.
Hafiz (Arabic: Arabic: الحفيظ), in the Islamic tradition, a person who knows the entire Quran by heart. The word hafiz is an adjective derived from the Arabic root hıfz (Arabic: حفظ), which means “to protect, memorize” and means “the one who protects, memorizes”.

Hafiz has an important value in Islamic societies and requires an intensive training process that usually starts at a young age. Memorization training is usually given to students by expert hafizes, and students practice reading a certain amount of the Quran every day for a certain period of time. The training process includes strengthening the student’s memory, increasing concentration and improving memory techniques.
Memorization is considered an achievement that is highly valued and respected in Islamic communities. Hafizes often take on leadership roles in mosques, religious events, and within the community. Memorization plays an important role in preserving and transmitting the Quran in a conservative manner.
